Special Edition Rhubarb & Star Anise
The innovative chef Casper Sobczyk, also known as the butter chef from Solskinsøen, is the man behind this lovely sweet rhubarb and star anise schnapps. The Special Edition brings together the Danish summer landscape in a unique and sensual taste experience, and gets its beautiful pink colour from the sun-ripened rhubarb. This sweet snaps with a hint of star anise can be drunk on its own, mixed into desserts or used as part of Casper's signature cocktail: the King of Denmark.
Organic and good ingredients
The Special Edition series has been developed in collaboration with selected Nordic chefs and bartenders, and is a modern tribute to the classic schnapps.
We recommend serving it at 7-9 degrees. In our Special Edition universe, Casper Sobczyk has also created a number of exciting and inspiring drinks and food recipes.
With Special Edition, we have created an organic snaps that can be enjoyed by everyone and used in both food and cocktails.
The King of Denmark
6 cl. Rhubarb & Star Anise Snaps
2 cl. dark rum
2 cl. fresh lime juice
1 cl. vanilla syrup
3 cl. egg whites
Chill a martini glass with ice. Shake all the ingredients thoroughly. Strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a star anise.
