The organic Fadlagret Akvavit offers a deep and complex taste experience. With its deep, dark golden color and elegant curtains on the glass, it is a delight for both the eyes and the palate. Fadlagret Akvavit is aged in oak barrels for at least 2 months, which gives the aquavit its characteristic rounded and balanced taste.
The flavor profile offers spicy notes of cardamom, a hint of black pepper and fine nuances from the barrel aging. This makes it an ideal choice for the lunch table or as an accompaniment to a cheese board. At 40% alcohol, it cleanses the palate in a pleasant way without dominating the aftertaste.
To get the full flavor experience, we recommend serving the aquavit at room temperature. This brings out all the fine details of the flavor and makes every mouthful special.
