The hill game

How to play the Hill Game:

1. Purpose:

The goal is to get rid of all your dice. The player who is left with dice at the end has lost.

2. Equipment:

Each player has 6 dice, and the game is played on a board with high edges.

3. Game rules:

The hill is sacred: You must not touch the hill with your hands, arms or anything else.

One hand all the way: You must keep all your dice in the same hand throughout the game.

Error: If a player makes a mistake (drops a die, touches the tray, or changes hands), the player must pick up all of their dice again. Then the turn passes to the next player.

4. Gameplay:

First player throws all his dice into the tray.

Remove 1s: 1s are jokers and should be removed from the tray first and placed carefully on the table.

Pick up matching dice: If you have rolled dice with the same number of eyes (e.g. multiple 3s), pick them up one at a time, starting with the lowest values. Once you have collected the dice, it is the next player's turn.

If you roll a die with a number of eyes that is already in the tray, you must pick up all the dice with that number and end your turn.

If you roll a new number (that is not already in the tray), you can choose to roll again or say "pass" to pass the turn.

5. End of the trip:

Once you have collected the dice, or if you say "continue", the next player's turn passes. If the tray is empty, the next player must roll all of their dice. If there are dice in the tray, the next player must roll one die at a time.

6. The winner:

Once a player has got rid of all their dice, they are out of the game. The game continues until only one player is left with dice – that player has lost.
