In the period from 1855 to 1920 there was a steam distillery in Hasle, where among other things they produced renowned Akvavitter.

The production was characterised by craftsmanship and good raw materials - and this is still true today, which can be tasted in every drop.

With the establishment of Den Bornholmske Spritfabrik in 1994, the production of aquavit was resumed on Bornholm. "Bornholmer Akvavit" has since been produced on the island after being produced in various places for the past 70 years.

Together with Bornholmer 1855 Traditions Akvavit and Bornholmer Bitter, this akvavit forms the cornerstones of our range.

In recent years we have produced a number of seasonal Akvavits, an Easter Akvavit, a Summer Akvavit, a Honey Akvavit, and a Bornholmer Christmas Akvavit. The latest addition to the market is the launch of Bornholmer Drammen SEVABLØDDA. See more under the tab to the left.
