Honningsyp is a traditional Bornholm drink made from vodka and honey. Perhaps the honey was originally added to hide the taste of a bad spirit, but in this version from Den Bornholmske Spritfabrik, the key word is quality! It is bottled at 32% alcohol and can be enjoyed whenever you feel the need for a little sip of Bornholm history.

The old steam distillery in Hasle, built in 1855, had a reputation for producing top-quality spirits. However, it was shut down shortly after World War I, and Bornholm was (officially) distillation-free for the next seventy years, with Bornholmer Akvavit being produced anywhere but Bornholm. But in 1994, Den Bornholmske Spritfabrik finally resumed the noble tradition of Bornholm spirits! The production is characterized by craftsmanship and good raw materials.
